My first meeting with Giuseppe and Michelle was via Skype. I find it amazing that things like that are even possible but with everyones busy schedules it makes meeting much easier.

Their plans for a small, intimate, British/ Italian wedding sounded beautiful and it sure was something special.

When I arrived at Pembroke Lodge, I found Giuseppe laughing and catching up with his family and friends who flew all the way from Italy to celebrate with him. Soon afterwards, all guests were ushered inside to await the arrival of Michelle.

We had been blessed with amazing (dare I say hot) weather so after the ceremony, everyone headed outside for canapés. Pembroke lodge is a beautiful spot for a wedding photographer... the building is beautiful and the gardens are the perfect backdrop for images. Giuseppe, Michelle and I ventured off for a few images and before we knew it, it was time to return indoors for their reception.

The reception. I don't know where to begin. I shed a little tear at most weddings but I am not afraid to admit that I properly cried at Michelle and Giuseppe's. There wasn't a dry eye during the speeches, especially when Michelle delivered hers in both Italian (she had it translated!) and English so that Giuseppe's family could also understand. Such a fantastic day!
