When I was asked to be the photographer at Alex & Ozan's wedding I was thrilled! Alex was one of the first people I met in the UK. I had been Instagram friends with her for a while and when we moved from Sydney to London, Alex and I finally met face to face! Although we live on opposite ends of London, we have met a few times since and kept in touch so I was over the moon when she told me she and Ozan were planning a wedding.

They first got married when she was heavily pregnant with her second child. The wedding was only small and they promised each other they would have a beautiful wedding with a white dress in the future... that became the 29th April 2017.

I met both of them at their home in North London where they and their 4 children (yes, four children 6 and under!) were getting ready. Alex looked beyond gorgeous in her wedding dress fit for a princess. When everyone was ready we headed in to The-Dustan-in-the-West / Romanian Orthodox Church London for their intimate wedding.

Their ceremony reminded me of my own Serbian Orthodox wedding... beautifully sung service, crowns, wine, circling the altar. It truly was lovely.

We then made the short walk to St Paul's Cathedral for a few portraits and couples images. Then everyone made a pit stop at Starbucks before heading on the Bird of Smithfield  for their reception. The reception was held in one of their private dining rooms which was just perfect for the occasion.

What a great day! Congratulations Alexandra and Ozan!
