Now this was one exciting wedding! It all started on one Friday morning at Boreham House where Laura and her bridesmaids were getting ready. There was both nervousness and excitement in the air.
Not long before the ceremony was due to begin, Chris and his bestmen (yes, men... not man!) arrived and I took a few quick snaps before leaving them to greet guests whilst I photographed Laura putting her beautiful dress on.
The ceremony itself was beautiful and combined tradition with modern elements. One part that I really enjoyed was the arras, a Columbian/ Spanish tradition where the bride and groom place gold coins in a box whilst stating marriage promises.
Later, all guests pooled out in to the forecourt to mingle and devour delicious little canapés. Whilst everyone was enjoying this, I was able to sneak off with Laura and Chris for a few couples images.
The reception was held in a large marquee out the back of Boreham House and before long the party really got started! Spanish, Columbian, garage music and everything in between played out onto the dance floor. There were dance offs, crazy moves and props. Take a look at the images below so that you too can see just how fabulous Chris + Laura's day really was....
