I cannot begin to describe the fun I had being Alejandro and Louise’s wedding photographer at Stoke Park back in November. There were big dramatic clouds overhanging but the rain held off for the most part.
When I arrived, Louise was getting ready in one of the suites. She seemed very relaxed and really just enjoying the morning. The light was so beautiful coming in through the large windows. Shortly her three super cute flower girls arrived and one of them gave me a bit of a challenge – she turned up with her own camera!!
Before long it was time to head downstairs for the ceremony. It was hear that tears flowed. Ones of real happiness. One of their friends from Sweden sang a beautiful song which even made me cry too!
We had to head off pretty quickly for a few bridal portraits as the light was against us but we jumped into a golf cart and drove off to the bridge on the estate which was the perfect start… until I realised how incredible the sunset was behind us… so I sent Louise and Alejandro off for a little walk. Well worth it!
The next part of their wedding day was simply awesome… there were singing waiters, flying napkins, tequila shots and a twirling, dipping, first dance.
If you have booked a wedding at Stoke Park, get in touch – I would love to be back to capture your day.
