Farnham Castle Wedding | London

May 14, 2019

In late 2017 (gosh that seems so long ago!), I decided that 2018 would be my year of professional growth and development.

I am one of those types that learns best when I’m doing, watching others and getting involved, rather than reading books. There are so many great workshops out there for wedding photographers but I wanted something personalised and lengthy rather than just 1 day.

I had been following a photographer, who’s work I love, for a while and reached out asking if he would consider taking on a trainee. Thankfully he said yes, put a program together and we got started in January 2018. Charlie (of Charlie Campey Photography) was an open book and shared all the ins and outs of how his business works as well as how he goes about shooting a wedding.Β

The wedding of Turls and Frankie was our last together. After a year of learning sadly our time came to an end. I honestly believe that it was the best investment towards my business that I have made. It really gave me a boost of confidence, I made a great friend and I finally not only love what I do, but love the images that I create. I truly believe that you can never stop learning and growing and I won’t ever stop doing so.
