Kay and I first met over 4 years ago at a playgroup in Wimbledon Village. She was one of the first people I got to know on this crazy journey of living in the UK. Back then things were a bit different for the both of us. We each only had two children (we now have three!), we’ve both bought and moved homes and we’ve both started businesses… photography for me and she is the amazing blogger behind Mums Without Limits.
When she asked if I could capture her wedding, I was thrilled. I knew it would be an incredible day with an awesome party!
I arrived at Kay and John’s house to find that their home had been transformed into an awesome wedding venue! Marquee out the back, DJ, bar.. it was all there. Kay was getting ready with her family around her (sans John!).
Once ready, wet all set off and head up the road to St Matthews Church in Raynes Park. The ceremony was lovely and really included the entire family as their children surrounded them during their vows.
The White Onion in Wimbledon Village provided the perfect setting for their speeches and meal. At this point, I headed home before meeting back at their home in the evening to capture some dance floor moves I won’t forget 😉
