On one beautiful day in March, Laura and Milan tied the knot at Burgh House in Hampstead.
My day started off at Marriott Regents Park in central London with Laura who was getting ready with her mum and dad. Once ready we set off on the short journey to Burgh House, a beautiful boutique venue with a local museum and art gallery. It was the perfect venue in which to both marry and celebrate.
Milan was there catching up with guests when I arrived. Many of their guests made the journey from Milan’s home country, Serbia, including his immediate family. The ceremony was beautiful and before long it was time to celebrate over a few drinks.
Milan, Laura and myself went for a little walk through Hampstead. It is such a beautiful part of London – I will have to go back just to spend the day exploring the little streets and shops.
When we returned, the reception was ready to begin so Milan and Laura made their entrance. I loved the mix of British and Serbian traditions. There were a lot of shots of rakija going around (traditional Serbian fruit brandy)! Ziveli!
