My morning started with Brad, his groomsmen, parents and son (which was lovely as I usually only get to photograph the bride!) at The Lodge Hotel in Wandsworth. One of my favourite moments was his mum putting on his buttonhole. Just the look of how proud and excited she was.
I then made my way up the hall to where Siobhan and her bridesmaids were getting ready. There was such a fun atmosphere! The bridesmaids reaction to Siobhan all dressed up and ready to go was priceless. There were tears and laughter all round.
We jumped into a white cab and made our way to St Thomas a Becket in Wandsworth. The church was stunning with beautiful stonework and lovely high cathedral ceilings. I also enjoyed the various hymns that were sung.
My all time favourite moment of their wedding was when they were married, had walked down the isle, their oldest son joined them and then they all cheered and swung him up. So much pure happiness across their faces.
Everyone quickly jumped into the London red bus hired especially which took us to The Star and Garter in Putney.
Despite the rain, Brad and Siobhan decided to pop up an umbrella and brave it outside for a few photographs. Its so nice to just get out and have a bit of time alone together during your day… and its wonderful being able to capture the emotion behind it.
The rest of the evening was non stop dancing the night away… of course with a bit of food and a few speeches thrown in!
