When I arrived at Jane’s house that December morning, I was excited by the day ahead but I had no idea what was install… non-stop fun, a stunning heart-felt tea ceremony, a Macca’s run and one of the best dance floors!
Jane and Tao first met at high school and they’ve been a part of the same friendship group since year 7! Tao totally surprised Jane whilst she was holidaying in Japan with her girlfriends….. to ask if she would marry him. The answer was definitely YES and here we are months later.
When everyone was ready, we headed to The Royal Botanic Garden where their tea and wedding ceremony was held. It was a warm summers day and the sky couldn’t be clearer. After the ceremonies, I took the wedding party for a stroll through the gardens. At one point, a few of the groomsmen went missing…. but showed up not long after with bags of McDonalds! The perfect snack!
My favourite part of the reception was of course, the dance floor. DJ Missy had RnB playing all night long and once again, I was out there bopping along.
I cannot wait until I’m photographing a wedding at Doltone House, Jones Bay Wharf again. What an awesome venue.
